Honestly they tend to take a drag a bit long during some sections but does get more interesting the more companions you get. There's also the platforming sections between which are a neat way to be a buffer between fights. Each has their own purpose for certain situations but it also simply just fun to use and juggle with your own attacks to take the enemy into combo city. On top of that there's the companion system which is just a fun way of incorporating the characters we like from the story and make them more involved in the gameplay. Especially when finish an attack at hit the button in time and it just really feels like you're smashing the enemy's head in. It also really makes so much fun to pull off. Gameplay The seemless transition and fusion between hack and slash combat and rhythm games is just sublime. Which let's be honest it's probably going to be the sequel but anyways let's actually talk about why this game is great. And it'll be a long time until something like this happens again. Great games actually come out often but game's like this which has this much love to it while not being indie is a proper miracle. You telling me that a game made by Tango Gameworks (who previously made The Evil Within), which is apart of MICROSOFT of all companies made a game that is this good, shadow dropped, cheap price (not €80-60), no microtransaction bullshit?!!? It's just beautiful. 11h 58m PlayedHi-Fi Rush is a triumphant, miracle game.
